Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

4:04 a.m. — Man wearing a cowboy hat was attempting to siphon gas in the 100 block of North Old Pacific Highway, Myrtle Creek.

7:20 a.m. — Man was sprayed in the face with bear spray and is now having a difficult time breathing in the 100 block of Williams Road, Yoncalla.

9:57 a.m. — Rape reported in Roseburg.

11:14 a.m. — Caller’s 18-year-old grandson is throwing furniture around in the 300 block of Walnut Street, Myrtle Creek.

12:50 p.m. — The neighbor hired someone with heavy machinery, and they are tearing up the caller’s property in the 2100 block of Jackie Avenue, Roseburg.

1:27 p.m. — Caller’s wife hit their young daughter in Curtin.

2:16 p.m. — A tree fell into the power lines near the intersection of Sunshine Road and Stillwater Road, Roseburg.

2:22 p.m. — Teenage male is at his mother’s house and the caller thinks there is a warrant out for his arrest in the 3000 block of Reuben Road, Glendale.

4:33 p.m. — Caller paid a door-to-door salesman for services but the work was never completed in the 200 block of Christopher Court, Roseburg.

4:48 p.m. — Sex crimes reported in Roseburg.

6:51 p.m. — Caller tripped over a water pipe and it is now spewing water in the 600 block of Salmon Harbor Drive, Winchester Bay.

ACCIDENTS

3:32 p.m. — White vehicle crashed down an embankment on Highway 38 near milepost 28, Elkton.

FIRES

4:42 p.m. — Smoke coming from the roof of a house in the 100 block of First Street, Yoncalla.

10:23 p.m. — Flames can be seen coming from the back porch or a field behind a house in the 700 block of Rice Valley South Road, Oakland.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

Aaron Geroge Baker, 29, of Roseburg, on suspicion of heroin delivery, heroin possession, methamphetamine possession, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, supplying contraband and tampering with physical evidence.

Oregon State Police

Nico Dominique Miller, 26, of California, on suspicion of importing or exporting marijuana and unlawful delivery of marijuana.

Roseburg police

Matthew Stoney Hollingsworth, 37, of Myrtle Creek, on suspicion of a computer crime, identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, second-degree forgery, and third-degree theft.
