The Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center will host a suicide prevention awareness event Friday.

The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the flagpole on the VA campus, with a photograph of employees who have been personally affected by suicide. It will continue from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Building 16 Auditorium with a prevention awareness event. Information will be provided about how individuals can support veterans in their lives and help prevent suicide.
