How does one be arrested then dropped off at home? Did the car go through the booking process for her?

This happened to our neighbor after he went the wrong way on the freeway. He was brought home by State Police. His truck was in a safe location, so no tow. He picked it up the meat day himself. He still drinks even after losing his license for 1 year and having an interlock device with camera. Go figure!
