WINCHESTER — No contest.

The Umpqua Community College men’s basketball team had its way against the Corban University Gold team on Wednesday night, handing the Warriors of Salem a 104-44 nonleague loss in the UCC gym.

The Riverhawks (5-0) had six players score in double figures, led by Jake Sampson with 16 points. Marcus Sherwood had 15 points and eight rebounds and Spencer Hathaway added 14 points and eight boards.

UCC shot 60% from the field and outrebounded Corban 48-25.

Umpqua is scheduled to host the University of Oregon Club Team at 2 p.m. Saturday.
