HASTINGS, Neb. — Umpqua Community College’s Victoria Baez and Autumn Perez won titles in the Hastings Open women’s wrestling tournament on Sunday.

Baez won the 130-pound championship with a 6-2 decision over De’anna Prince of Wayland Baptist. Perez captured the 155-pound crown, pinning Haley Ulroan of the University of Jamestown in 1:30.

Finishing second for the Riverhawks were Itzel Medina (116), Maya Lindskog (143) and Makan-Sira Keita (191). Also competing for UCC were Hinda Doucoure (109, third), Aracely Rendon (170, third), Nishika Smith (136, fourth), Violet Evangelista (fifth, 101) and Amanda Smith (123, sixth).
