ADAIR VILLAGE — Jackson Risinger scored 18 points with four 3-pointers and Santiam Christian defeated Sutherlin 48-28 on Friday night in a nonleague boys basketball game.

Risinger scored 10 points as the Eagles (8-5) outscored the Bulldogs 18-2 in the second quarter. Benjamin Bourne chipped in 12 points for S.C.

Paul Cervantes and Thomas Mentes each scored eight points for Sutherlin (2-9).

"We had a really good first quarter, but had a big letdown in the second," Sutherlin coach Chris Mock said. "That was pretty much the difference. We had a lot of unforced turnovers that turned into easy buckets for them."
