The Days Creek football team concluded its 2021 fall season with a 56-38 nonleague eight-man loss to Crosspoint Christian on Friday in Klamath Falls.

The Wolves finished 0-6 overall and 0-3 in Special District 1 Central.

Days Creek had a 30-point second quarter and only trailed 36-30 to Crosspoint at halftime, but the Warriors (4-3, 1-3 SD1S) outscored D.C. 20-8 in the second half.

Quarterback Wyatt Geiger completed 16 of 30 passes for 355 yards and five touchdowns, with three interceptions for the Wolves. Keith Gaskell finished with eight catches for 256 yards and four TDs, while James Buckner had five grabs for 66 yards.

“I felt this was our best game of the season,” D.C. coach Travis Fuller said.

Crosspoint held a 456-417 edge in total offense.
