Performance: Led the Eagles to a pair of Skyline League wins over Elkton and Umpqua Valley Christian during the past week, including a 22-point game against the Monarchs. Averaging 14 points, 7 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 3.5 assists on the season.

Quotable: “I thought we’d have at least seven or eight players (this season), but we have five right now. I always have high expectations ... I wanted to have a good last season and we’ve exceeded my expectations (with a 7-2 record so far).

“I like that we persevere and work hard, and focus on making it better for everyone when we’re playing. I hope we can get into the (Class 1A) state playoffs.”
