MEDFORD — The South Umpqua, Oakland and Riddle track and field teams took part in the 24th annual Crusaders Relays hosted by St. Mary's on Tuesday.
In the girls' meet, the Oakland 4x100-meter throwers relay tied for first (1:09.1). That quartet consisted of Kyla Baxter, Nina Lammers, Annabelle Aker and Kalyn Busciglio.
Other winners included Alyssa Wade of South Umpqua in the shot put (23-3 1/2) and Tia Picknell of Oakland in the discus (92-8).
On the boys' side, Joseph Fusco of Oakland won the triple jump (34-8).
The S.U. and Oakland 4x100 throwers relay teams tied for first (58.0). The Lancers were represented by Matt Burnett, Timathy Ferch, Cameron Jones and Tyson Gaedecke. The Oakers were comprised of Layne Percell, Donovan McDermott, Corbin Sarnoski and Dallas Fishbaugher.
