REEDSPORT — Oakland's James Baimbridge and Tia Picknell each won a pair of events at Thursday's Reedsport Ice Breaker track and field meet.
Baimbridge won the 1,500 meters (4:44.2) and 800 (2:15.7), while Picknell won the girls discus (103-6) and tied for first in the high jump (4-0).
Other county winners in the boys' meet included Logan Gant of North Douglas in the 400 (57.1); Clayton Wilson of Reedsport in the 3,000 (10:52.6); the Oakland 4x100 relay team of Cade Olds, Brandon Meier, Gabe Williamson and Baimbridge (49.2); and Williamson in the pole vault (9-6).
Other first-place finishers for the girls were Callie Sarnoski of Oakland in the 3,000 (13:26.0) and Veronica Sigl of Oakland in the 100 hurdles (17.5).
