Umpqua Community Health Center (UCHC) is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive Thursday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Roseburg clinic location, 150 Kenneth Ford Drive.

The event is open to the public and will help fortify blood supplies in Douglas County the blood donations ensure that people who have experienced trauma, are undergoing surgery, or are living with certain conditions like cancer have access to the lifesaving transfusions that donations provide.

The blood donation process takes about eight to 10 minutes, and may help save up to three lives.

After you give blood, there are snacks and drinks available.
